BA Public Policy:
This BA Public Policy Program offered at UPES has a unique component. Keeping in view the career aspirations of the new generation, UPES has embedded Civil Services Examination coaching along with the regular course curriculum of the BA program.
The Civil Services exam not only focuses on academic knowledge but also on the overall understanding of society and finding solutions for contemporary problems. About the Course:
This BA Public Policy Program focusses on developing professionals who are equipped with the nuances of public policy to confront issues that governments face on a day to day basis. The programs offered aim to prepare administrators who venture beyond scholarly discourse and are well versed in various substrates of public policy. BA Public Policy & Administration has a built-in coaching component for the Indian Administration Services (IAS) – a first in India. This program provides knowledge of economics, public finance, research methods, public policy, leadership, and strategy.
Curriculum:
Under the BA with civil services program we provide history, economics and political science as the core BA subjects, with Osmania University affiliation. Coaching for civils services has been seamlessly blended into the program. Regular seminar, daily newspaper reading, News analysis, debates and discussions are an integral part of the course.
