The Hindu Civil Services Aspirants Forum:
The Hindu is an Indian daily newspaper, headquartered at Chennai. It was started as a weekly in 1878 and became a daily in 1889. It is one of the most circulated English-language newspaper in India, and is the most widely read English daily newspaper in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana and Karnataka. The Hindu became, in 1995, the first Indian newspaper to offer an online edition. It is published from 21 locations across 11 states.
